“My grandfather started selling wine when he was 13, pushing a two wheeled cart through Brooklyn in the 1940’s, and selling his father’s red wine in gallon bottles.  He and his brother Sal bottled the family’s first American brand, Villa Armando, in 1948 and in 1961, they bought their first winery in California.  Today, grandpa helps us keep a long term perspective and reminds us constantly that wines should be made to go with food, friends and family”, says Anthony III.
